The training module on public and private cloud offerings in ECIT covers various aspects of cloud services. It explains the differences between on-premise, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions. On-premise refers to equipment located at the customer's site, which they own or lease and are responsible for. Private cloud, such as ECIT Datacenter, offers cloud computing services over the internet or privately to selected users, with ECIT managing all hardware, software, and infrastructure. Public cloud, like Microsoft Azure, means that the provider owns and manages all hardware, software, and infrastructure. Hybrid cloud combines on-premise, private cloud, and public cloud services into a single solution, allowing for flexibility and the best combination of cost, technical capabilities, and features for each application.
